Te extraño, extraño

Te extraño, extraño is a nice contemporary Mexican cafe and restaurant, popular especially for brunch. It is open for breakfast and lunch. The menu from breakfast to lunch changes at 1:00 pm. So if you want brunch come before that.

For breakfast you can get for example French toast, orange or banana bread, delicious avocado toast, seasonal local fruits with homemade muesli, the famous Yucatek huevos motuleños (motuleños style eggs), fried porkbelly sandwiches, hot cakes with miel, pita bread with hummmus and much more.

Te extraño, extraño is housed in the small shopping center - or concept space - Lagalá (with the restaurant on the first floor and an art gallery and clothing store upstairs). There is a feature about Lagalá in the glocal design magazine.

Perhaps you're wondering what the name stands for? Te extraño, extraño means "I miss you, I miss you" in English.

The Restaurant Row

The so-called Restaurant Row (Corredor Gastronómico) extends about four blocks east on Calle 47 from the south traffic circle of Paseo de Montejo. The whole street was renovated in 2023 and there are some of the best restaurants and trendiest cafes in the city.

You will find the fine restaurants Olivia Enoteca, 130 Grados Steakhouse, Catrín or Micaela Mar & Leña, the cafés Cafetería Impala, Baretto Espresso Bar, Marmalade 47 or Latte Quatro Sette and the cantina El Lucero del Alba.

Te extraño, extraño is located at the beginning of Restaurant Row (Corredor Gastronómico) at the intersection of Calle 47 and Calle 56, just one house away from Calle 47. The restaurant is more or less part of it, even if the address is Calle 56.
