First-Hand Insights on Marmalade 47

Marmalade is a café with two locations in Mérida. One (Marmalade 47) is on Calle 47, also known as the Restaurant Row (Corredor Gastronómico), near the beginning of the street, right next to Baretto Espresso Bar.

The other Marmalade café is on Avenida Andrés García Lavín (No. 337) in the San Antonio Cucul neighborhood in northern Mérida. San Antonio Cucul is known for its modern developments, shopping centers, and a growing number of cafés and restaurants.

What’s on the Menu

The menu offers a variety of sandwiches, eggs Benedict, and omelets, as well as several burger options, including pulled pork and guacamole. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, you’ll find waffles, pancakes, fruit plates, cakes, and other pastries.

Since it’s a café, the drink selection is just as diverse. You can choose from espresso, cappuccino, chai latte, matcha, fresh fruit juices, lemonade, and traditional Mexican hot chocolate.

Marmalade on the Restaurant Row

As mentioned earlier, Marmalade has a location on Calle 47, also known as the Restaurant Row (Corredor Gastronómico), which stretches about four blocks east from the southern traffic circle of Paseo de Montejo.

The street was renovated in 2023 and is home to some of the best restaurants and cafés in the city. If you enjoy sitting outside, you’ll find a few tables in front of the café, shaded by two large umbrellas.
