Sonora Grill is a high-end Mexican steakhouse chain known for serving some of the best steaks in Mérida. It is located in the Urban Center shopping mall in Colonia Monterreal.

Colonia Monterreal is a neighborhood in the north of the city, home to various restaurants, cafés, banks, and stores. It is relatively small, with around 2,500 residents, compared to Mérida’s total population of approximately one million.
