Sanbravo Seafood & Steakhouse in Mérida is an elegant restaurant located in Colonia Benito Juárez. It sits in the northern part of Mérida on Prolongación Paseo Montejo, the extension of the famous boulevard.
Since March 2018, chef Christian Bravo has been in charge, offering a menu that balances classic cuts of meat with fresh seafood. The restaurant has a sleek and upscale atmosphere, combining modern design with a cool, sophisticated vibe.
Sanbravo Seafood & Steakhouse has been awarded the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice and consistently ranks among the top spots in Mérida.
The restaurant Silver Fish (at Calle 22 in Montecristo Frente Plaza El Centrito) in Mérida and the highly regarded seafood spot Crabster, located on the promenade in Progreso as well as in Paseo 60 in Mérida, are owned by the same people behind Sanbravo.

The appetizer selection is already extensive, and when it comes to steak, you’ll find all the well-known cuts. The menu features for example

Reservations can be made by phone (check the website of Sanbravo for details), and valet parking is available. I definitely recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends or during special events, as the restaurant is quite popular and fills up quickly.

If you decide to stop by on short notice and can't get a table, you'll find Gran Pizzería La Tratto Montejo just across the street on Prolongación Paseo Montejo. It’s not only one of the best Italian restaurants in the city but also my personal favorite.
